What we collect

Account details you give us: name, email address, phone number, age band and the city you join.

Membership and payment records: subscription status, billing dates and payment references. Card details are handled by our payment provider — we never see or store your full card number.

Event activity: which events you RSVP to, attend or cancel, and any dietary or accessibility notes you choose to share.

Technical information: basic device and log data used to keep the site secure and working.

How we use it

To run your membership and take payment, to invite you to events and manage RSVPs, to keep events safe and correctly sized, to answer your questions, and to send club updates you can unsubscribe from at any time.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share your details with other members without your consent.

Who we share it with

Service providers who help us operate the club: payment processing, email delivery, hosting and our booking systems. They only receive what they need for that purpose.

Venues and hosts receive the minimum needed to run an event — usually a first name and any dietary or accessibility note.

We may disclose information where the law requires it or where there is a genuine safety concern.

Storage and security

Your information is stored on secure, access-controlled infrastructure which may be located outside New Zealand and Australia. We take reasonable steps to protect it from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

Your choices

You can view and update your details in your member dashboard, unsubscribe from club emails at any time, and ask us to send you a copy of your information or delete it.

New Zealand members have rights of access and correction under the Privacy Act 2020; Australian members have equivalent rights under the Privacy Act 1988.

We keep membership and payment records for as long as required for tax and legal purposes, then delete them.
